This class will demonstrate a simple method for creating a waist cincher/demi-corset on your partner.
This is a hands-on class and you will leave with practical knowledge and skills. We will cover:
The core technique
How to extend rope when you run out
Optional elements to add greater stability and flair (like garters or shoulder straps)
Variations that will produce slightly different looks
This is a practical, hands-on session that rotates between demonstrations of the creation and application of the techniques, step-by-step walk through and practice sessions with high involvement by the instructor.
What should attendees bring:
This consumes a lot of rope, but this technique limits the number of tail pulls you need to do, so it doesn’t take as long to tie as you might think.
You can easily burn through 100’ of 1/4" rope, even on someone that is slight-of-build.
If you use thicker rope, you will not need as much. The trade-off is that 1/4" rope will make a smoother finished product.
At a minimum, you want:
Four 30’ or Two 50’ or One 100’
2 – 10’
…all of the same type and thickness. Bring more if you think you might need more. Rope will be available for sale during the workshop.
