Course Description: As you journey deeper into the "headspace" involved in BDSM, aftercare is one of the most important parts of making sure your practice is safe, rewarding, and enriching. Dr. Ryan Westrum will lead the group through a discussion of different activities that can be used for Dominants, submissives, and switches to decompress, process, and maintain well-being. This is an interactive group workshop with opportunities for discussion and practice.

Instructor: Dr. Ryan Westrum is the founder and visionary of Healing Souls. A mental health practitioner for over 15 years, Ryan leverages his background in traditional therapeutic methods and infuses his work with holistic, intuitive therapies that empower individuals to take charge of their sexual identity and behaviors. Ryan earned his Doctorate of Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University, San Francisco. He also has an M.A. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Adler Graduate School and received his BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Areas of Speciality include sex therapy, pornography addiction, LGBTQ, sexual addiction, sexual trauma, sexual reassignment, kink exploration, anxiety, depression, anger management, teenage relationships, couple/marriage relationships, grief & loss, spirituality, and experiential work.
